Hi everyone!
As we wind down 2021, I must say, I am excited to see what 2022 will bring. One can hope for normality as we knew it.
As I sit here watching the snow fall, it’s almost memorizing, as my mind drifts to multiple thoughts. There is so much to say about 2021.
Who would have guessed that Covid would have lasted this long! Or that covid would cause so much divide in humanity. There is no question that Covid exits and needed to be taken serious but my opinion is that it when much further than necessary. So many rules and restrictions that made no sense. To divide those who were vaccinated to those who choose not to get vaccinated. “TRUE NORTH STRONG AND FREE” really didn’t describe 2021. So much frustration for everyone!
I felt like we were all under a heavy dark cloud. I have had enough of that heavy cloud, I have stepped up my game and moving above the heaviness of 2021. I am headed in 2022 with a much higher vibration. To get back in my groove and live life as peaceful as possible. I’m hoping we all can think more positive and put out happiness to break through the heavy dark cloud that covers us all.
Who would have expected the dog world to explode! 21 months later I think the puppy craze might be starting to slow down. I know more than anyone how much joy a puppy can bring to a family. But I also know the sad truth of how many puppies were purchased on a whim. We are seeing the shelters filling up. Dogs, cats and bunnies. We all know how hard it was to be isolated and that drove many people to get pets for company.
We are in a situation now that some people will return to work, some were forced to quit their job, and others are trying to find jobs so they can stay at home with their pets. But the bottom line is too many pets are being surrendered to shelters. As some cannot afford to care for them, some want to travel and the pet is now a problem and others have to go back to an office job. There are alternatives and help out there if you seriously want to keep your pet.
As a breeder in this crazy time, I spent many hours screening my customers. To closing my wait lists and choosing the best families for my puppies. The truth of the matter is, there are many uneducated pet owners out there who struggled raising a pet. After hearing so many stories, It drove me to create two Ebooks, The Puppy Parent, Pre-Purchase Guide, a free download and The Puppy Parent Guide, for purchase, in hopes of helping people make the right decisions and help give them the knowledge they need to guide a new puppy through the transition stage. I educate all my customers prior to taking a puppy, and the difference is day and night. A little bit of knowledge goes a long way.
I pray that all the pet owners who are struggling, find a way to keep there pet, get the help they need and find the resources to help them with their struggles.🐾❤️
As good humans let’s try to help as many people and pets stay together. If you have some knowledge and can help guide someone, please be kind and help someone in need. It will go along way. Being kind will only come back to you in great ways. We can all use kindness as we navigate our way through an ever shifting world.
Thinking positive and helping someone is what we need to breakthrough the heaviness😘. Looking forward to 2022 and all it’s positivity! Wishing you all a very happy holiday season. Cheers to you all! Choose to be a Good Human!💕
